Roma Tiburtina, Rome
Presented by Grandi Stazioni
Stand R7.F33
The new Roma Tiburtina high speed station is a key node for transportation in Italy. The new structure not only is a fundamental transport hub, but is also a new urban boulevard connecting two neighbourhoods historically separated from the railway.
The new elevated passageway is an area of high pedestrian flows, and is characterized by a 16,000-sq m commercial and service gallery with over 60 shops. Considering its strategic position in the urban context, Roma Tiburtina is a commercial and service hub not just for the 55m passengers who use it every year but also for the surrounding areas and the whole city.
