MAPIC: Tell us a little about Peek & Cloppenburg

Fabien Stutz: The Peek & Cloppenburg Group, with its headquarters in Düsseldorf and Vienna, has made a strong name for itself as one of the largest multi-brand fashion retailers in Europe. Accessible via five online shops and in-person in over 160 stores, P&C as an omnichannel provider offers customers individual shopping experiences. This is thanks to the selection of curated fashion trends from premium labels, trendy young brands and innovative exclusive brands. Today, around 16,000 employees work for the group of companies across 16 countries. In addition to P&C, the group of companies also includes the men’s outfitter Anson‘s as well as Magasin du Nord.

MAPIC: What are your plans for the next 12 months?

Fabien Stutz: P&C is celebrating the opening of seven brand new stores across Austria and CEE. The size of the international store’s ranges from 3,000 sq m to 7,000 sq m. Additionally, this year marks a significant milestone for P&C with its market entry into Italy, debuting its first store in Milan at the Merlata Bloom Centre. Next year, P&C will further expand in Italy by opening its second store at the Waltherpark mall in Bolzano.

MAPIC: What are your main objectives for the year?

Fabien Stutz: With its market entry into Italy, P&C has underscored its strategy to enhance brand awareness and expand its physical presence in Europe. The first step will be taken this year with the opening of Merlata Bloom, followed by the second store in Bolzano in spring 2025.
