Infinity Walk – Chongqing, China
Larry Smith Asia
Infinity Walk is a large outlet of fashion and luxury brands scheduled to open in 2016 at Chongqing, one of China’s 4 independent municipalities.
Infinity Walk isn’t just shopping, it will also be entertainment: the outlet will be connected by suspension bridges to a Family Entertainment Centre, whose concept will be developed by Forrec, the leader company of the entertainment sector, with a multiplex and other leisure activities for the whole family. A real lifestyle experience.
Infinity Walk gets its name from the number 8, a lucky number in China and, when turned on its side, the symbol of infinity, a stylized version of which appears in the outlet’s logo.
Larry Smith Italia was chosen by client and investor Legion International Holding to develop the ambitious project together with HYD Architettura of Venice, a studio that is highly specialized in green design. The aim was to give it the typically Italian elegance and lifestyle that is so popular in the Far East.
The project includes the construction of an ultra-modern and exclusive outlet covering an area of about 42,000 m2 with parking for 3,200 vehicles.
160 stores of the most prestigious names on the international shopping scene will be located on 3 floors in addition to a spa, art galleries and lounges; another floor will be entirely dedicated to food.
