In a significant raft of new lettings, a number of major brands have signed at Unibail-Rodamco’s Mall of Scandinavia ahead of the project’s opening in autumn next year. Several brands of the Inditex Group, Disney and Åhléns department store have signed up to the ‘Home of the Flagships’, as well as Filmstaden Scandinavia, O’Leary’s and Vapiano, in order to strengthen the leisure offer within the centre.

Inditex Group has selected a number of locations in the mall totaling more than 4,800 sq m (52,400 sq ft).

Åhléns’s 6,000 sq m (64,580 sq ft) new city department store concept in Mall of Scandinavia is the first in a shopping centre and will feature Åhléns Wellness with 300 sq m (3,230 sq ft) of training, yoga and running for the active woman. The department store will also include all of the latest popular products in women, men, kids accessories and home and beauty.
Mall of Scandinavia, Unibail-Rodamco’s 100,000 sq m (1.07m sq ft) landmark development in Stockholm, opens its doors in Autumn 2015, setting a new standard for shopping in the region. The centre, which recently received the coveted BREEAM ‘Excellent’ certification during its design phase, will be the largest and most spectacular shopping centre in Scandinavia when it opens, with a host of in-demand retailers opening in the midst of a stunning, curated environment.
